The Texas COVID Learning Acceleration Supports (TCLAS) application is now open for school districts and open-enrollment charter schools. This one-stop-shop application provides Texas local education agencies (LEAs) access to over $1.4 billion in state discretionary ESSER funding, access to over 20 ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø initiatives, and funding for district personnel to carry out these supports.Ìý
The following opportunities are available over the coming weeks for LEAs to learn more, ask questions, or apply for TCLAS grants before the application closes at 11:59 p.m. CT on August 20, 2021:Ìý
- Learn: See the recordings and slides from the TCLAS Overview Webinar and all 10 TCLAS Decision Point-Specific Webinars..Ìý
- Ask: Attend an upcoming TCLAS Office Hours session to get answers to questions about TCLAS.
- When and where: Every Wednesday from July 28th through August 18th at 4 p.m. CT; Ìý
- Apply: Review the TCLAS Guidance Document, calculate your estimated award with the TCLAS Award Calculator, and submit your initial application through this web-based survey. The TCLAS application is a which will be followed by a simple eGrants application in the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍøL system, in September, with no narrative responses required.Ìý
